Creating a thriving biotech industry in the greater Tacoma area requires we assist companies who wish to stay here. For years many young scientists started innovative and life-altering companies however, they regularly move out of the area due to the lack of existing infrastructure. One of our goals at RAIN is to help new businesses navigate the logistics of setting up and staying in the Pierce County area.

• Assisting the navigation of Pierce County codes and laws.

• Advocating for Tacoma: an abundance of warehouse space, funding opportunities, etc.

• Providing incubator company mentorship and business support.

• Facilitating connections with RAIN programs and interns.

• Supporting business-related activities, such as marketing, finance and administration.
